What is ReadingFluency.app?
ReadingFluency.app is an AI-powered oral reading fluency assessment and practice platform designed to help educators measure and improve reading fluency across grade levels. Teachers can assign passages, have learners record their reading, and receive instant scoring for words correct per minute (WCPM), accuracy, and error patterns—without manual grading.
The platform supports whole-class screening, small-group instruction, and ongoing progress monitoring. Educators can track growth over time, review student recordings, and quickly identify learners who need targeted intervention.
ReadingFluency.app also includes live multi-student passage rooms that allow multiple learners to submit recordings at the same time, making it ideal for classrooms, MTSS/RTI intervention groups, tutoring programs, and language learning environments.
The platform supports fluency assessment in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese, making it useful for bilingual programs, world language classrooms, and English learner (EL) support.
While commonly used in elementary settings (K–6), ReadingFluency.app is also effective for older students and adult learners who are developing foundational literacy or learning an additional language.
