Recommended Usage

Learners below the 15th percentile use for 10 to 15 minutes every maths lesson.

Learners between the 16th to 40th percentile use 2, ideally 3, times per week, for 15 to 20 minute sessions.

Using Educake several times a week helps to check understanding of new topics. Setting revision of past topics enables students to actively demonstrate what they know and build stronger recall in a low-pressure environment.

Most Helpful Reviews

timely practice

John Petry, Lead Practitioner: It is the only thing I have found which guarantees that students who need additional learning support catch up with their peers. Often they can understand harder topics - it is just their memory holding them back. Timely practice removes that barrier.
Tony Shah, Head of Mathematics: Because I have seen first hand the confidence, enjoyment and progress of pupils
Kirsty Behan, Acting Team Leader: Timely Practice has revolutionized the way I teach low attaining students. It has not only improved results but students have reported enjoying completely their timely practice each lesson, knowing how much it has helped them learn and, often for the first time, given them some confidence in their mathematical knowledge.

Educake

Luke, Head of Science: A fantastic resource that saves a large amount of teacher time, and also improves student experience - something that would not be possible without it.
Kim Poole, Deputy Head of Science: It has made our lives as teachers much easier to set homework and the students enjoy it. It makes them think as they can't guess the answers!
Ian, Head of Science: Excellent product for homework and revision which significantly reduces workload. However analytics is a little lacking compered to some other products.
