What is Keystage 2 Keyring Challenge?
The KS2 Keyring Challenge This is a ground breaking, fantastic, award winning and fun opportunity to introduce your students to the vital skill of CAD (computer aided design) and 3D Printing without the expense of buying expensive kit that will just gather dust. This is a terms work that ties in beautifully with your Design & Technology & ICT scheme of work. Developed and piloted with Broughton Junior School in Aylesbury. It has proved a great hit with students and teachers alike and lasts for a term. At the end of the project each student will have designed and 3D printed a personalised Key Ring that they can take home and amaze their parents with. Having trialled this in 17 Bucks schools with some 3500 children we now want to roll it out further for any schools that are interested in this truly 21st century technology. This is the first time CAD and 3D Printing have ever been taught in our state primary school sector.
