When students are required to provide meaningful feedback and rate the feedback of their peers, this is a very useful tool. It does take a few assignments for students to get sufficient modeling of what is expected, but then it is excellent.

My students really loved the idea of seeing other students writing and responding to it. The fact that the writing they were reading was anonymous was really great for me as a teacher. It allowed students to see what other students were doing without embarrassing anyone. I'm still learning how to use it as a teacher, but I have already recommended it to my administrator for purchase. Thanks!

My students said this was a wonderful way to peer revise. I love that it is anonymous and helps them share better feedback with each other. It is also much faster for them to peer revise than it would be by writing on a rubric. They loved it and I enjoyed that I could see where in the process each student was as well as their feedback to each other. This enabled me to police students' feedback.
