How EdTech Impact boosted SchooliP’s credibility in the education sector

SchooliP is a single platform that makes it easy and cost-effective to manage every aspect of school improvement, from staff to trust, from professional development to sustainability.

What problem were you trying to solve?

We joined EdTech Impact to increase our exposure to schools and also to improve our credibility as a supplier in the education sector. We continue to work on Customer Success to ensure that our customers achieve their desired outcomes. An essential part of this process is to gain feedback from customers.

We investigated different platforms to engage with schools and found that EdTech Impact was perfectly placed to provide a friendly-space for customers to review our product and benchmark against key educational outcomes like “Improving School Processes” and “Providing School Data”.

Why did you choose EdTech Impact?

EdTech Impact offered several main advantages over traditional review platforms like Trustpilot and Google Reviews because of the Education focus, the size of its audience and friendly and impartial nature that schools can provide their testimony.

Did you have any reservations about adopting greater transparency?

We had many reservations about adopting the greater transparency offered by EdTech Impact and we were naturally concerned about receiving neutral or even negative feedback. We need not have been concerned though, because part of our ethos of SchooliP moving forward was with Customer Success at the forefront of our customer experience. Part of this process is about identifying the aspects of what we do well, in addition to the opportunity to improve the overall experience for present and future customers.

How have your schools and teachers reacted to being asked for feedback?

We were initially quite surprised by the volume of schools and teachers that were willing to provide feedback.  Our customers have been very willing to share their experiences with other schools, as they themselves value this type of feedback, when influencing their own purchasing decisions. Schools like to hear from schools, rather than from a salesperson.

We already have a close relationship with many of our customers but EdTech Impact has helped to improve these communications.

Where negative comments have been made we have taken these onboard constructively and have used these comments to directly influence our development roadmap.

Have you seen any measurable benefits?

We have improved our sales processes as a result of engaging with EdTech Impact and regularly utilise the reviews/feedback on our website and product emails. This helps to improve our credibility in the Education sector and the EdTech Impact logo is fast-becoming a mark of quality that schools can trust.
