Bell Path is an operational planning and timetabling workspace designed specifically for Australian primary school principals and assistant principals. It focuses on solving the weekly operational challenges of running a primary school, including managing part-time teachers, allocated planning time (APT), meetings, cover, yard duty, and wet-day arrangements. Rather than trying to replace existing school administration systems, Bell Path sits alongside Department-provided tools as a dedicated workspace for timetabling and operational planning. It is intentionally narrow in scope, aiming to solve the specific problems it owns without adding unnecessary complexity.

Bell Path offers a single source of truth where teacher, class, and room views remain synchronised, with pre-publish clash checks to catch conflicts before they cause disruption. The platform generates a full timetable in under two minutes and produces PDF packs with each publish, making distribution straightforward. Key benefits include saving leadership time on daily absence coverage decisions, ensuring fairness and equity across teacher workloads, and reducing the administrative burden that typically eats into principals' weekends. Privacy-focused design keeps student data out of core timetabling, with initials mode and privacy prompts available where named records are needed.

Implementation is designed to be fast, with primary school setup taking approximately 30 minutes. Bell Path provides a printable school approval pack summarising data categories, subprocessors, ST4S readiness, public-link limits, support pathways, and residual risks—giving principals the review material they need for local approval before live data is entered. Once configured, the system re-solves timetables in under two minutes as circumstances change.
