What is Chimpa24?
The Chimpa24 Project is being born with the purpose of preventing cyberbullying and any improper use of Internet and mobile technologies, but it is an effective tool to improve IT management, didactics and, in general, a conscious and wisely managed use of the mobile technologies both in school and at home.
Chimpa24 creates a 'Safety Net' involving the school and the families, working all-day-round on three different levels:
1) School level: the IT manager can have full, bird’s eye control of all the devices at school level, deploying apps and contents and blocking undesired applications upon various parameters such as timetable, proximity to the school WiFi etc.
2) Classroom level: the teacher can have a day-to-day control of the classroom activities, locking any App in the forefront, choosing which Apps will be available, locking the devices, sharing live contents etc.
3) Home level: this is the added value of the Chimpa24 Project to our standard Chimpa MDM solution. ChimpaHome - available both as App and Webapp - gives parents a full control over their sons devices, eg. monitoring the time spent on a specific application, locking unwanted Apps, shutting the device down at a certain time etc.
Chimpa24 is developed by Helgi/Xnoova, one of the two European EMM (Enterprise Mobility Management) Android service provider and, moreover, is a Google for Work certified partner and a member of the Apple Consultants Network. The advanced skills of the technical department allows a simple, zero-touch enrollment of the Android devices, with no hassle for the IT school department.
