What is Class Attendance Tracker (CAT) QR?
CAT QR is a paperless solution that uses QR codes and mobile phones to help trainers and educators record and track student attendance. It removes the the hassle of messy, inaccurate and time-consuming processes associated with paper registers and role calls.

 Requirements | Class 'organisers' need an Organiser account and access to desktop PC. Students/attendees need to download the mobile app and create a free account. |
 Set Up | We work with you to plan your system and set it up to match your requirements, e.g. recreating lesson observation forms, determining check-in dates, agree your strategic goals and outcomes, etc. This is done in an session which usually lasts around an hour. We then aim to have you up and running within one working day. |
 Training | There are two parts to the solution - the 'Organiser' creates classes and QR codes with the administration portal. For many this doesn't require training as it is intuitive. On occasion we have had to provide short training sessions. For students/'attendees' there is no training needed. |

CAT QR has helped us to improve the accuracy and speed of recording of class attendances. In the NHS instant recording of attendance is essential for ensuring staff are adequately trained to carry out their role. During Covid 19 restrictions it has also been beneficial for us to record attendance of virtual training. At classroom training, it has enabled us to manage social distancing by reducing the sharing of contact with paper registers/shared pens. We've also recently used CAT QR to co-ordinate our covid-19 staff testing programme and record collection of testing kits.
