What is Edval?
Takes your existing timetable and re-room it to show significant improvements very quickly.
These include reduced movement required between lessons, greater rooming consistency for classes and teacher home rooms, greater equity in specialist room allocation.
The re-rooming process takes about an hour to setup initially, but only seconds to run. It can showcase how much better your rooming could be, or improvement solutions can be actually adopted easily, such as after term break.
This is a low disruption change, as classes retain their times, only rooming is improved.
We recommend using the plaform for as long as required during timetable planning and construction. Typically this reduces workload from months to weeks or even days
Engaged timetabler, who can provide the current timetable data in a standard, common format. Also able to set up or advise the rooming information of what room is suitable for what subject, and size.
We work with you to plan your system and set it up to match your requirements, e.g. recreating lesson observation forms, determining check-in dates, agree your strategic goals and outcomes, etc. This is done in an session which usually lasts around an hour. We then aim to have you up and running within one working day.
Short assistance from Edval consultants to setup, then a simple user guide to operate in-house.
