It transforms the traditional observation process by allowing teachers to capture learning moments through voice rather than typing or writing. Using a push-to-talk lanyard, educators can speak naturally about what they're observing while maintaining full engagement with children in the classroom. TeachScribe then automatically transcribes these spoken observations, links them to the appropriate child's profile, and maps them to relevant curriculum goals, eliminating the administrative burden that typically follows observation.

The secure AI system processes this audio, creating properly formatted observations that are instantly added to the child's profile. Later, teachers can attach photos or videos if available and review all observations through a comprehensive dashboard. The system is curriculum agnostic, optimized for EYFS but adaptable to any early years framework including international curricula, Montessori, and Reggio approaches. Currently being piloted in over 10 UK schools and part of the DfE AI Tools for Education programme, TeachScribe offers GDPR compliance with UK-hosted data for security and privacy.
