TeachSeats is a classroom seating chart and student grouping tool designed to help teachers create more intentional classroom arrangements. Teachers can build a digital layout of their classroom, add students, and create seating charts that account for individual student needs rather than relying on completely random assignments.

Teachers can set preferences for where students should be placed in the classroom, identify students who should sit closer together or farther apart, and use smart randomization to generate seating arrangements that consider these preferences automatically. Seating charts can then be easily adjusted by dragging and dropping students as needed.

TeachSeats also includes tools for creating student groups, randomly selecting students, managing multiple class periods, and displaying a simplified student-facing view of the seating chart. Classroom layouts and student information can be reused, making it easier to create new seating arrangements throughout the school year.
