What is Tugo Tutors?
Tugo Tutors runs small-group maths classes for secondary pupils. Students work on online whiteboards accessed through a computer or tablet.
Sessions are supported by the AI teaching assistant, which gives high quality feedback on the whiteboard in real time. It also gives live analytics to inform the tutor's teaching, and writes progess reports for the school.
The assistant allows our tutors to teach more students at once, more effectively. And with a friendly human on the other side of the call, the students engage.
Lessons are structured around cognitive science principals into how pupils learn and retain information. All Tutors have training in this method and are DBS checked.

The school will need to check that google meets is not blocked by the firewall.
Lesson set up is minimal. Students will need to have access to a computer or tablet and a headset (ideally with a microphone). A member of the company will come in person for the first session to ensure a smooth start. Staff will need to distribute the joining code to the students in each group ahead of time. Email is easiest. If the school has insufficient data on the student, we can arrange a 20-minute diagnostic assessment, after which results and a learning plan are shared.
Minimal training needed.
Anyone can create the account. Our product sold directly to parents is slightly different. If the school wishes to supply parents with our services, we will have to discuss how this is achieved
