We have been using AIR as a whole school for a while now and it has really helped with our writing assessments. For those teachers who struggle to assess writing, it acts as a second teacher to validate assessments and take away some workload. It is fast and accurate and gives amazing, personalised feedback to individual pupils as well as whole class feedback. We have found that it has saved us hours of work. Whilst it does not replace teacher assessment, it certainly helps with judgements and helps with workload when you have many books to mark and think about your next steps!
