Since we started using AIR Education from Year 2 upwards, it’s been a total game-changer for our school. It’s completely shifted the way we look at writing outcomes and, more importantly, how we manage our time as educators. Before we brought AIR on board, getting everyone on the same page with grading was inconsistent. Now, we have consistent grading across the board. Whether you’re looking at a piece of work in Year 2 or Year 6, the standards are clear and unified. It has taken the guesswork out of moderation and given us total confidence in our data. The biggest win for our staff has been the impact on workload. We’ve moved away from those endless hours of "deep marking" to uploading the children's work onto the air platform which is marked for you. Because the programme handles the heavy lifting of the assessment, teachers can actually use that time to sit down with students and run high-impact interventions. The outcomes AIR gives us are so clear that planning our next steps has become much more focused. We aren’t just guessing what to teach next; we’re using the data to plan improvements that we know will work. "AIR Education has genuinely changed the culture in our school. It’s moved the focus from 'ticking boxes' with marking to actually spending time on the things that help children improve their writing."
