We started using Air Ed to help with teacher workload, having some very large classes. However, we quickly discovered its potential for use across the rest of Key Stage 2. It provides us with consistency in approach, a deeper understanding of assessment across pieces of work. The building of portfolios to demonstrate children's achievement allows us to fine-tune our teaching to target the gaps within and across different pieces of work and removes any potential bias. This has improved teacher confidence and accuracy of assessment across school, leaving time for more evidence-based conversations to guide teacher assessment.
We've been evaluating the EdTech marketplace since 2019, empowering educators to make informed decisions, and to help providers increase the quality of their products.
