school review

i was a student at NIA for 5 years and this is my honest review.

being a student here, i felt unappreciated, undervalued and disrespected. teachers were very often rude to me and my friends instead of talking to us like adults. they are also unapproachable, and students have to chase teachers down for every little thing.

help with university applications was almost non-existent and i found it ten times easier to use an outside agency to apply. a friend of mine applied with the help of the school and had the worst experience with it.

it is very difficult to find good opportunities, and most students get lost in the crowd despite their talent. there is a very obvious culture of favouritism no matter how much it's denied.

there are a few good teachers here that made me feel so supported and safe, and it is sad that the overall environment of the school overrides that.

i do not recommend it at all, this school is inauthentic and only cares about maintaining a good image. underneath this facade being a student here was very difficult and unrewarding.

When I enter this school I feel as if I am entering my house because I get all the support and help from the head of departments especially Dr Tereza and Ms Claudia, as well as the arabic department in secondary. I advise anybody that is looking for great education to join NIA.

The school may seem great at times but the management of the school is horrible. The primary head of year Ms Ansonet in particular is very horrible overall what I have seen from her is very non professional as she may seem kind in the outside she holds grudges to those who talk back at her even though she is in the wrong. Due to her she has lost countless of teacher due to the amount pressure she puts on them. The school equipment is very old computers, keyboards and projectors are from 10 years ago. The teacher are worked to the bone as they put work after work for them. The way they deal with secondary is alright however when it comes to paying IGCSEs you need to have all your term school fees paid like we know we go to a private school however the parents aren’t made of money. I have noticed that the school can’t seem to keep their teachers as they leave constantly. There are teacher I do feel bad for bc all their skills are wasted on this school bc even some teachers are very nosy when it comes to student’s business for example a student is doing something for an event the teachers question then a start getting mad at them like it’s not their fault they are doing something important but Ik there are bad students at times but they need to gives a little more freedom as if teachers respect the students they will respect them. Overall I am glad to have moved my child to another school

i wouldn’t be surprised if teachers are forced to leave good reviews when they’re hired. if you put your child in this school you’re either kinda demented (no offense ❤️) or don’t read reviews. anybody leaving good reviews here is deluded.
or held at gunpoint. wouldn’t be shocked honestly 💀

We have been 10 years here , but the management has to be changed Ms ansonnet is not talking to parent in proffesional away also there management are sending emails for payment remined plenty of time even you already paid and they are asking payment in very soon advance .they have to change they away to approach the parent , as the parent is the decision make and easily can change the school .
