Björknäs School

The Björknäsgymnasiet (Birkennasen Gymnasium) is the secondary school in the district town of Boden. Here students learn a profession (various choices, as there are no other large vocational schools in the area) or complete their Abitur. In addition to the main building, the school has other school parts, for example for warehouse workers, construction workers, electricians and drivers as well as vehicle mechanics, which are spread across the city. The school offers, for example: aspiring competitive athletes from cross-country skiing and biathlon also have the opportunity to learn at school and train in the afternoon. The school has modern equipment and, from what I have come to know, well-trained and motivated teachers. Culture is also very important at the school - its own video studio, several recording studios, 2 auditoriums, ...
At the same time, the school makes an important contribution to the migration work of refugees.
