• Moderately reduces teacher workload“ClickView makes the process of finding resources for subject areas and SMSC delivery much more efficient, saving teachers time. These resources can easily be edited or made interactive and then are shared within school, reducing the need for several teachers to create their own therefore workload is shared.”
• Moderately improves teaching efficiency“The platform integrates well with our VLE and teacher presentations in PowerPoint. Videos can easily be shared with staff and students. The platform is effective at allowing staff to quickly and effectively analyse who has watched the video and their responses to any interactive questions. It provides an ideal repository for both staff and students to upload videos they have created to a central repository and enable others to interact with them.”
• Slightly improves attainment“Whilst evidence here is mainly anecdotal, ClickView provides high quality resources to expand the range of learning materials teachers and students have access to. Access to high quality videos, both within lessons and outside of school add to the range of resources used to ensure students make the maximum progress.”
• Moderately builds student knowledge“Videos are used both to teach new information and to consolidate learning. The impact of this is seen in subjects such as Geography where examples of natural disasters can be watched alongside animations to show and explain concepts that could not be easily seen in the real world. Interactive video features can then be used to check understanding and this can then lead to intervention.”
