At ks3, I don't feel there is enough scope to test the texts and skills we teach

Reply from Educake:Rachael, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that you feel the current KS3 English coverage doesn’t fully support the texts and skills you teach. Insight like this is incredibly valuable to us, and we take it seriously. We’re also really pleased to hear that Educake is helping reduce workload for you and your team. That’s something we care deeply about, so it means a lot to know it’s making a difference. Following our recent teacher survey, we’re expanding our KS3 English skills content, with new additions planned for release in September 2026. Our aim is to ensure the skills and question types better reflect the breadth of what teachers need at this stage. I’ll be in touch with you directly to arrange a call. We’d really appreciate the chance to understand any specific gaps you’re experiencing and explore how we can support you and your department more effectively. We’re always open to hearing from teachers and improving where it’s needed. Thank you again for everything you do, and for using Educake with your students.
