I was a student in this school for 5 years, highly recommend it

i’m not a student but my experience with interacting with the students here was not entirely pleasant, i do know some awesome people that come from this school, but there are also students here with bands sportsmanship and i have seen this happen multiple times. i do think this school has an amazing campus though.

Whilst my two Daughters received schooling at Wellington Shanghai International College I would have to give such a low review not on the fault of the class teachers but on the fault of the College in general. When my two daughters started their education at Wellington International College U.K. they were reminded of the Schools Core values. One of which was Individuality. One of my Daughters finds the struggles of schooling a little difficult, when Wellington found out initially that my daughter had been previously assessed for Additional needs they suggested that the School wasn’t for her, when I explained that this assessment showed that my daughter had no additional needs and if they had considered the findings of the report that they would find no reason to refuse her for this reason. It took several weeks for Wellington to conciede. My daughter had never attended an international school and this was very new to her, as was learning Mandarin. Each time a concern was raised by school they linked it again to her previous Assessment (which at this point was less than 6 months old) Each time suggesting that the School prides itself of academia and that we should send her again to a child psychologist. The school did not take into consideration her personal identity or individual needs (something that any state school can do) or offer her support. Eventually the school asked us to find her a new School, Which we did. Then Wellington decided after much discussion and explanation on why what they were doing was wrong and how I felt that Wellington removing her only one term in would be negatively effecting her confidence they then decided that she can have the additional support. I understand that the standards are high but I don’t understand why this didn’t happen sooner.

Leadership of this school and huili school is total disaster.Their employment process based on discrimination and cherry picking！Especially huili school principal in Shanghai
campus most dishonest person who shouldnt be nowhere near any school settings.She was previously kicked out from a school in lingang.I know everyone hated her in that school except her toy boy guy called Andrea Pinto who is a total useless,selfish unqualified PE Teacher from Portugal！Because of her incompetency, She often seeks advice from her unqualified puppy boy Andrea when it comes to employing teachers！These two people are total disgrace for any educational establishment and they should be fired asap！These two useless people creates toxic athmospehere wherever they are.Stay away from this place at all cost！If you have a child think ten times before sending them to this shamble school！

Great I was a student at this school from grade 2  to 3 very good and then I went to Canada again and I stop learning at this school anymore but my experience at that school was great but I had a wish is that not to wake so early everyday I get tired you have to wake up at like 6 or 7 o’clock and school starts at 8:00 and in Canada school starts at 9:10 and now I am a grade 5  recent edit: ( now I’m grade 7 in Canada, I edit this every year)
