• Improves parent engagement“We have a blog on schooly but less than half the parents read it. It goes to them weekly. They get notifications about house points, sanctions, certificates, etc. but not everyone reads it. Many parents have problems with schooly. It needs too many updates, doesn't work on their phones properly, etc. We put reports to parents on schooly but again many don't read it and wait for parent teacher meetings to discuss progress. It's a duplication of information and work in many respects.”
• Improves school processes“I only use it for recording the register, house points, sanctions and results. It's a duplicate of results information that I keep elsewhere so it doesn't help with this.”
• Improves teaching efficiency“I do not use it for teaching in anyway. Just recording results, reports and information.”
• Reduces teacher workload“It duplicates it most of the time. We record test results and reports elsewhere then have to put it on schooly again. Schooly is too unreliable to write reports directly into it - it breaks down or malfunctions. So I write them in a google doc first then I have to copy it over.”
• Saves school money“My understanding is it is more expensive than other programmes out there.”
