The online conference is free for educators to attend and will be packed with sessions from thought leaders in education, literacy experts, and EdTech specialists, including TV personality Baasit Siddiqui, fluency expert Tim Rasinski, children’s author Michael Rosen, and Education Endowment Foundation Specialist Chloe Butlin.

Baasit Siddiqui said: “I am greatly honoured to host the 2024 International Reading Conference, which showcases passionate literary experts and shares what is at the forefront of literary pedagogy. I know each session will add value to and improve young people’s lives.”

Reading Solutions UK is committed to improving children’s life opportunities through education, and the conference is one of the many ways they achieve this alongside their online reading development programme, DreamBox Reading Plus.

Ian Fitzpatrick, Managing Director of Reading Solutions UK, said: “Our passion lies in making a tangible difference in each child’s educational journey, empowering them to reach their fullest potential through reading. We are delighted to bring the International Reading Conference back for its third year. We are dedicated to supporting teachers with the latest insights and strategies to foster a love of reading and improve outcomes for both schools and students. That’s why the conference is free for educators to attend.”

DreamBox Reading Plus is an adaptive online reading programme that develops reading fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary to create proficient readers, improving results to make a difference in school and student outcomes.

Key takeaways from last year’s conference include implementing technology solutions, curating reading spaces, introducing reading rewards, focusing on personalised learning, and integrating reading across the curriculum. This year will build on last year’s knowledge and introduce latest techniques.
