• Builds student knowledge“Students build phonological awareness and phonic knowledge alongside decoding and HFW word reading, spelling and analysis skills and fluency and comprehension skills.”
• Provides school data“The Lexia programme provides unique data for each user, identifying their areas of difficulty. This data supports our schools existing assessments - PM Benchmarking and PTE. It provides measurable records of skills pupils have mastered and their individual progress over time.”
• Improves attainment“Pupils demonstrate improved phonic and decoding skills, improved reading fluency and accuracy, improved spelling and increased reading comprehension skills. The programme provides structured, individualised learning opportunities for each pupil. The targeted practice addresses gaps in their literacy knowledge and helps pupils progress towards more age related expectations in reading . The children progress through the levels and receive certificates for each level which boosts their confidence.”
