What is Lexia Reading Skills Software?
Lexia's literacy software enables students of all ages and abilities to master essential reading skills. By harnessing the power of technology, through Lexia, schools can equitably provide personalised practise and tuition to all in a time-efficient way.
Lexia® Core5 Reading® and Lexia® PowerUp Literacy® provide scalable, personalised learning to students of all ages and abilities without impacting on teaching time and resources.
Our literacy programs are centred on a personalised learning approach that gives students more control over the time, place, path, and pace of their learning.
Utilising a combination of effective, teacher-led instruction combined with an interactive, user-centric experience, Lexia encapsulates a personalised learning approach that fully supports the varying cognitive abilities of all students.
Lexia is not only research-based, but research-proven to accelerate literacy skills. This includes a recent study funded by the EEF which the results received a ‘high security’ rating and delivery was awarded as ‘low cost’.
With Lexia literacy programs, teachers can see detailed, real-time reports that help prioritise and differentiate instruction, allowing students to develop critical reading skills at their own pace.
Recommended Usage
We recommend at least 3x 30-minute sessions of Lexia use to be timetabled each week.

We have used lexia for over 10 years but have only just moved to an intensive intervention model, where students have daily intervention for 6 weeks and the data has proved that this is much more successful for us.

Lexia is the best platform I have used for supporting a wide range of literacy needs and abilities. It is great for SEN, PP and EAL students. It is easy to track and evidence progress. I have recommended Lexia to other schools, who have signed up too!

We've had so many successes with pupil progress and attainment in reading and writing. The teacher platform allows for easy at a glance analysis of gaps in learning and then the supplementary worksheets support any further scaffolds individual children might need. This is a well thought out intervention which needs little teacher input and the children find engaging.

Good tracking, easy to access data which is web-based. Great support team at Lexia UK. I would like live, updated data - so when teaching Lexia - if I had myLexia open - it would update the pupil's work in real time.
