It's really changed how we do things. New features are added regularly and align with the national challenges. The webinars provide the support required to use the system, although it's very simple and intuitive. From the first demo (highly recommended) we were well supported to get moving. Over time, we now have a clear picture of teaching and learning, with all walks, snapshots and monitoring in one place.

Lisa Schofield found Nautilus:
  • Improves teaching efficiency
“Nautilus has completely transformed our teaching efficiency and given our leadership team back hours every single week. By streamlining learning walks and observation workflows, it allows leaders to provide immediate, constructive feedback directly to staff. The standout feature is easily the new AI reporting; having automated, clear insights available instantly with virtually no manual reporting needed has eliminated our administrative headaches and allowed us to focus entirely on driving classroom standards and supporting our staff.”
  • Improves attainment
“The new inclusion features and webinars have really helped our SEND pupils. Teachers now receive support from SENDco lesson visits, which they love. Overall, it's good to focus more on teaching and pedagogy and sharpening this rather than relying on test scores.”
  • Improves teacher knowledge
“This probably the biggest feature. We use the appraisal tools and everything is streamlined. Teachers are all involved in professional dialogue and feedback loops with each other, and so they improve together. Pedagogy has become central to all of our staff development and pupil outcomes.”
  • Saves school money
“We used to spend a lot freeing up staff to do leadership work, and now they use less time and collect more insights. Subject leadership is now manageable as well as SEND leadership. For SLT, the cost is minimal given the insights that we access.”
  • Builds student knowledge
“The Gallery photos and videos demonstrate this. We evaluate the acquisition and application of skills and knowledge with our learning snapshots. This is highly positive and means that we have a clear view of where teacher practice has the most impact. This relates directly to pupil outcomes.”
