Recommended Usage

Each learner is different though we would recommend, dependant on the reason for using the platform, that around an hours learning per subject, preferably per day is suitable and will demonstrate impact. Though it is important to note that this is very much dependant on the needs of the learner, this is why we provide flexibilty in our approach.

We recommend Britannica School replaces general internet searches within your school. Through daily use and interaction, students will be better equipped to research independently and become more knowledgable about the subjects they are studying.

Most Helpful Reviews

EDClass

Farhan Patel, Learning Mentor: This is a great service to use as an educational platform and also as a safeguarding children at home tool
Kyle Dixon, Inclusion Lead: I would recommend EDClass for a number of reasons. The first being the that the customer service team are extremely helpful. No matter which member of the team answers the phone, everyone is always there to help no matter what the query. Genuinely really nice people who are very helpful. Requests are always followed up straight away with no delay which is especially helpful for a school as it is really fast paced and things need to be put in place quickly. The second being the accessibility for staff. The daily attendance alerts you receive via email and text mean that you don't have to make time to look at student attendance on the account. This is helpful for me as I have such a busy schedule and don't have time to look everyday.
John Vincent, Vice Principle: The resources are appropriate for every key stage and the level of work maps into our curriculum. The platform is easy to use for staff and students. The safeguarding elements are a key feature.

Cindy Rogers, Head Librarian: Britannica is user-friendly, with many enhancements to help students, such as related links, auto-generated citations, optional audio, and adjustable reading levels.
Carla, 2nd grade teacher: Because offers lots of tools, apart from the main one
Marie V, Librarian: I think it´s a great tool, but we do have to work hard to get the students and teachers to use it rather than go straight to the internet
