Compare HegartyMaths vs Encounter Edu

HegartyMaths is mobile responsive so it will scale to work on any device with a good quality internet connection and relatively up to date web browser. This means that it is compatible with desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.

For optimal performance, however, a tablet screen size or larger is preferable as often our questions involve detailed pictures which may be hard to see well on a phone screen size. We also recommend using Chrome as a web browser as this is generally most compatible with our platform.

We do not currently have an app version of HegartyMaths.

For Live Lessons access to YouTube and decent internet connectivity is required.

If your application is successful, we will be in contact to arrange an online training session.

The training session must be attended by the Head of Maths at the school but the rest of the Maths department are welcome to attend as well. It will take 1 hour for the demonstration of HegartyMaths and we will also share the steps to a successful implementation.

Your school's account will be created and your trial will begin (these are usually around 4 weeks, but we do make exceptions if trials fall over holiday periods). Subscription costs will be discussed during the call.

As soon as you sign up you have immediate access to Encounter Edu resources and live lessons. It can take a bit of time to browse the site fully to find the full possibilities and advantages of teaching with Encounter Edu.
