The EEF recommends a programme of 12-15 hours tuition for maximum impact of tuition.
Computer with camera and microphone.
Internet Access.
Google Chrome Browser.
Each pupil needs a laptop or computer (ideally with a webcam feature) and a microphone headset to get the most from their tutoring sessions. Schools will also need reliable broadband internet access, and if lessons are taking place on-site, a space for pupils to study. Most of our schools use a classroom, IT suite or library to host sessions however lessons can easily be run at home if needed. As long as students have good internet access, a laptop/PC and a webcam - they can access their tuition easily.
Before we set up your programme, teachers have an onboarding call (~30 mins), with their Relationship Manager, for a guide of what's needed to set up their tuition programme to get lessons going to a good start.
We'll also book a call with your school IT Manager to make sure that all equipment is set up correctly for seamless lessons. Students don’t need to have any formal training, although we do provide user guides and resources to help them get started.
