What is Classoos?
Classoos is a digital textbook and learning resource platform, accessible on and offline on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile.
Classoos was created by technology experts who, as parents, had a vision of bringing childrens’ learning in line with the modern digital world: Making learning resources familiar, accessible and relatable to pupils.
Classoos can seamlessly integrate with a school's MIS and provides textbooks from the UK’s major British education publishers including; Hodder, Bloomsbury, Collins, Pearson, Cambridge, Oxford, Colourpoint Educational, PG Online and others, covering KS2- KS5, GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and BTEC for all the major exam boards; AQA, OCR, Edexcel, Cambridge, CCEA SQA and WJEC.
Users access their library of etextbooks via one login on their devices, lessening the amount to carry and ensuring books are always available and never forgotten. Pages can be bookmarked and highlighted, links and resources added and notes made to enhance learning. Teachers are able to upload and share resources with their students and departments, making teaching and learning more streamlined and eliminating the need for endless photocopying.

For our visually impaired student, the online textbook is essential. He can enlarge it on his tablet. It's super.

It adds additional functionality to the traditional textbook while removing the need to physically carry heavy books around. For ten stars I'd also want to be able to integrate it into our learning environment and embed specific pages.

It has been so helpful and easy to set tasks for pupils to work online with classoos. We have cut down on the amount of textbooks we are purchasing and it is so easy for pupils to revise and work outside the classroom.

It is very useful as an alternative to a physical textbook, however it is expensive, given that a new licence for each pupil has to be purchased each year
