What is Tes Safeguarding Training ?
Tes Safeguarding Training, powered by EduCare, provides a single point of online access for all staff safeguarding and duty of care training. All courses are high-quality, interactive and engaging, and they’re written in partnership with leading experts to ensure the very best and most up-to-date advice and information.
Topics are divided into clear, concise modules with video to highlight key learning points and optional narration for accessibility, and modules conclude with multiple-choice questionnaires and additional resources are provided to expand learning.
Once completed, staff can print out certificates for their completed courses, return to refresh their knowledge whenever they need to, and print PDFs of the course transcripts to keep to hand. And leaders can set staff courses to complete, monitor their learning via the reporting suite and provide evidence to inspectors quickly and easily.

The courses are informative but very negative. The language around neurodiversity is all about there being something wrong with the person; the person is a problem, the person has problems, the person needs to be handled. There is an expectation that a neurodiverse person will be a disruptive influence in class and will disrupt the learning of others. That neurodiverse people will be hard work and there is something wrong with them. This mindset will surely leek into the classroom and negatively affect the self image and self esteem of the neurodiverse person. At no point are the advantages of neurodiversity mentioned. Greta Tunberg would never have started her campaign as a 15 year old teenager if she was not autistic as a neuronormative teenager would have been too worried about how they looked or what people thought of them. ADHD people can hyperfocus on something they find interesting. My ADHD daughter got into Oxford University studying PPE.

The customer service after I enquired why my course hadn't been refreshed was terrible. I am still waiting for a refund on my purchase as I did not wish to go ahead with the course and no accountability was taken for the website's inadequacy
