Fabrio is a platform which makes learning computer-aided design (CAD) as well as basic engineering principles engaging & easy. We do this by marking and providing feedback in real-time to learners as they work through our online courses and carry out tasks as part of them. For example, a learner may be working through a Fusion 360 modelling course, and be asked to create a specific shape or design. After they do this, they can check their work by clicking a button within Fabrio’s plugin installed to the CAD software. From here, the software will check the learner’s creation to make sure they have completed the task properly and to ensure they have understood everything correctly before progressing. The real-time marking aspect is much more involved than on any other EdTech platform.

The actual courses are designed to promote critical thinking and provide a solid foundation from which to develop all design skills and have been created to exceed the requirements of the Secondary School Curriculum which targets students aged 11-16 and is used in the UK and most international schools across the world. By combining these courses with our feedback system we can make working in industry standard software much less intimidating.
