Fuel is a roleplay-based writing network and a learning platform designed for digital literature education. It is specifically aimed at teachers of German language and literature. Teachers can invite their students to read short, open-ended screenplay scenes and continue them through dialogic writing. Most children and adolescents enjoy stepping into different roles. By experiencing and shaping a story together with their classmates, they engage in reading and writing in a highly motivating way.

Using Fuel can support students’ development in a wide range of areas. In addition to writing skills, it also fosters literary and cross-disciplinary competencies, as well as media and digital literacy.
