HegartyMaths is an online learning platform that was built to help all year groups independently learn, practice and revise maths.

HegartyMaths contains 600+ video lessons and 40,000+ bespoke questions covering the whole maths curriculum. The content is carefully sequenced, scaffolded and connected, and delivered in a comprehensive and rigorous manner that students need to master all mathematical content.
What separates HegartyMaths from similar solutions is the obsessive focus on the cognitive science behind successful teaching and learning. New material is always explained with reference to its prerequisite building blocks. All skills are demonstrated through minimally different and carefully scaffolded worked examples. Students can revisit any concept to get deliberate practice over time to improve working memory and confidence.

This means that it is compatible with desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. For optimal performance, however, a tablet screen size or larger is preferable as often our questions involve detailed pictures which may be hard to see well on a phone screen size. We also recommend using Chrome as a web browser as this is generally most compatible with our platform. We do not currently have an app version of HegartyMaths. |
 Training | In PersonLive OnlineWebinarsVideos If your application is successful, we will be in contact to arrange an online training session. The training session must be attended by the Head of Maths at the school but the rest of the Maths department are welcome to attend as well. It will take 1 hour for the demonstration of HegartyMaths and we will also share the steps to a successful implementation. Your school's account will be created and your trial will begin (these are usually around 4 weeks, but we do make exceptions if trials fall over holiday periods). Subscription costs will be discussed during the call. |
