Ever interaction is personalised using our Personality Type Theory, ensuring that every individual is presented with relevant career information, with the freedom to explore all opprtunities.
Our personality quiz centres around personality type theory, born from the workings and theories of Myers-Briggs and Carl Jung, and developed by our personality and career guidance expert David Hodgson.
David joined Launch Your Career to further his research and develop his personality quiz (which started off as the Buzz quiz which is used by career professionals all over the world) with the intention of extending the journey for students and creating a platform that really makes a difference for young people on their journey of discovery. David has worked with students and organisations all over the world, testing, researching and refining his work, ensuring that the young person is considered throughout and that the information is easily digestable and captures event the shortest of attention spans.
Our personality quiz is more than a 15 minute quiz, it aims to help young people understand themselves and others around them whilst presenting opportunites to them, and provides careers leaders in schools the opportunity to meet the needs of each student and with their guidance expertise, help them to thrive as they prepare for their next steps.
Launch Your Career is available to schools taking part in The National Careers Challenge with The Inspirational Learning Group in the UK.

As per my experiance, Launch My Career is just an awesome career builiding authority. But I didn't like some of the things happened here...I have completed 2 sessions of the whole Premium pursuit. The first session was just amazing......but the 2nd session was the worst one. Like it didn't help anything. I have not got the promised planning yet.

There are just a few small tweaks to make it an all encompassing platform and therefore, a "no brainer" for schools.
Jessica Pieri found Launch Your Career:
- Does not significantly provide school data“We are yet to find a system that can manage our three years of destination data. It is currently completed on a spreadsheet! In order for us to move this to a system, we would need to have a way to log the destinations for each year group, send annual emails to them to update on their location and, if possible, this to then be automatically updated on the system.”
- Slightly improves school processes“Not yet, but this is because we are not using it to it's full extend! On our roadmap, we intend for all students to know their student animal/personality type by Year 9. This will be recorded so that when they come for their guidance appointment in Year 11, I know the best approach to take with them. This information can also be shared with teachers to support them to help the students in a classroom setting.”
- Slightly improves behaviour or wellbeing“It could if we had better implemented it as it allows students to take control of their own careers planning, thus aiding the improvement of their wellbeing and focus in lesson (when focused, students are generally better behaved!).”
- Does not significantly improve attainment“Attainment is already very high within our school, we (Swindon Academy) are top of the leaderboard in our area for Progress8 Attainment. The focus here is very much on classroom management and curriculum learning.”
- Moderately builds student knowledge“When used properly (!), yes definitely.”
