What is SOUK Ed E-portal?
SOUK Ed is a bespoke learning E-portal that contains Shout Out UK’s award-winning Media Literacy and Political Literacy courses. There are 3 versions available: teacher, parent or individual. We have Political Literacy courses for KS3, KS4 and KS5, as well as a Media Literacy Course teaching young people how to critically engage with the media. The free version includes access to some Media Literacy resources and other materials. The paid version gives full access to all our courses and the innovative “student union” function that helps schools set up a student union, set polls and carry out other democratic processes.

 Requirements | We have designed the portal to be incredibly user-friendly and accessible. Some technical capacity is required as it is a tech solution, however, we have tried to keep it as simple as possible. Also, the portal is designed to work all on both computers and phones/tablets in order to maximise accessibility. The teacher receives a login and creates their own password. From here they oversee all the students use of the portal. They can see which students have completed which parts and can monitor their progress. Each teacher account has a unique “sign up code” which they share with students, allowing the students to create their own accounts. They too will receive a login and student account. Through this they can complete quizzes and other activities. |
