Certified by Education Alliance Finland

EAF Evaluation is an academically-backed approach to evaluating the pedagogical design of a product. EAF evaluators assess the product using criteria that covers the most essential pedagogical aspects in the learning experience.
Passive
Active
The solution allows teacher to make dynamic lessons with good rotation of different activity types, so it ensures the active role of learners. It is important that students can upload documents and images, as this kind of use expands the activity types from text based answering to more creative ways of finding and delivering the answer.
Rehearse
Construct
Solution doesn’t allow passing through the content with low engagement, but it forces students to focus on the learned content and do things to extract new information. This is a critical aspect that very many learning product fails with. The experience is therefore very constructive and near to optimal level.
Linear
Non-linear/Creative
As teacher decides how the learning progress happens and what activities are being done, the learning journey can be tailored to be linear or non-linear. The most important thing is that teacher can follow the progression in real time and give support to the ones who need it. This makes the learning outcomes accurately predictable, which is a crucial thing in classroom teaching. Teachers are also instructed well to benefit from all different features that the solution provides.
Individual
Collaborative
User is mainly responsible for himself/herself which is good as it allows progressing in own pace. Sharing student’s screen for the whole class is a great function that makes the activities more goal oriented and supports peer-learning.
