The product provides immediate feedback for almost every user action, along with multiple layers of progress markers. All of these encourage and assist the user in making informed decisions about their learning path, without compromising the user's autonomy.
The product provides hints for every problem, which are accessed at the user's discretion. This allows users to remove scaffolding as they see fit, as well as customize the learning experience to their individual preferences.
Users can jump back and forth between different courses and levels when necessary, which is helpful when their focus changes between wanting new content or preferring to practice previously covered material.
The product provides suggestions for how to proceed based on user performance, but the user can easily override them to focus on individual goals.
