Technical Capacity of teachers/students - very basic computer skills and the ability to fill out a simple spreadsheet for uploading student IDs. Resources - Computers / Tablets with internet access. PDF viewer for accessing user guides and worksheets. School's IT dept may need to allow their network permission to access to our website.
Students will need an internet connection for homework. If you plan to use Sparx Maths in school, you will also need access to the internet and devices for each student.
User guide PDFs for Teacher and Students are supplied. Video user guides also available upon login. Training generally not required however free training is available by telephone or webcast. Training provided when requested in person for a fee, dependent on location.
We provide schools with a significantly long trial with full access to all features so that they can have confidence in its impact prior to purchase.
Once we receive data from you or your IT Manager, we can have you up and running within 2 working days. Your choice between flat file data integration or data integration via your school or college's MIS will have an impact on the onboarding schedule. Everything will be explained in your first kick-off meeting in which we advise you to include all key stakeholders, including your IT Manager, for maximum success.
