Elsa Raittinen, Teacher: I find Kide science to be a very useful tool with preschool (6 year olds) kids. It is motivating, interesting and made super easy for the teacher. Even with our special learners it has been a positive learning experience.
Ritika Shah, Founder and Head Facilitator: We just started off a few months ago and the journey until now has been outstanding.
Wong Kin Tung, Principal: We have been very impressed with the array of science lessons and how they can be used with the many different interests and studies of our school. The students need access to our MEL VR App, which can be downloaded from the Android or Apple App stores. This can be any form of phone based VR headsets, such as Google Cardboard, or an Oculus headset. They can also access a flat version of the VR environment on a phone or tablet without the headset.
For the MEL VR app to work correctly, you’ll need the following equipment:
- Phone (student device) – iPhone 5 or above, or Android 4.4 or above. iPod touch is not supported.
- Tablet (teacher device) – iPad 2015 or above or Android device 4.4 or above
- Operating System – iOS 9.0 or above and Android 4.4 or above
- VR Headset – Google Daydream, Oculus Go, Gear VR or any Google Cardboard device with a touch button and without magnet control
