Our Teaching assistants who lack confidence when it comes to computing lessons were able to understand the objectives and work with the children more confidently. The children really enjoyed the activities and their is scope for all to improve at their own levels. The instructions can be played as many times as the children need and those who have difficulties reading text were able ton access the information through the spoken word button which meant that nobody was held back or needed to rely on others.Simon, Teacher: They really are much simpler to use than I expected and the way the Toodlebit scheme is laid out means that it is straightforward, exciting and accessible to all.Milica Pandurov: Because my kids (12yo and 9yo) enjoy using CodeMonkey, since it is game based and they see the progress and reward immediately. Also, there are plenty of courses as I see for all age groups and knowledge levels up to high schoolersJames Mills: Code Monkey is a great program though it is very expensive for the amount of age appropriate content available. There's a heap of content offered by Code Monkey but only a handful of "games" are applicable at each age/stage of learning. If it were cheaper or if there was a larger variety of games for each age/stage, there's definitely potential for a 10/10 rating.Matt Morgenroth: My son said it was 5 of 10 because he sometimes doesn't want to use it.
Pupils need access to either desktops, laptops, Chromebooks or Ipads plus internet access. Pupils will need access to the downloads folder on desktops/laptops machines.
