What is Educake?
Educake is an award-winning online assessment and revision platform for science, English, geography, history, computer science, PE, business, and maths. Now, Educake is also available for Primary KS2, offering complete preparation in English, maths, and science.
Educake makes life easier for teachers by saving time on setting homework, marking, and analysing results. In just a few clicks, you can set specification-matched tests and get immediate insights into your students’ strengths and areas for improvement. Plus, students receive instant feedback, helping them stay on track.
Using proven retrieval practice techniques, Educake helps students remember and build on what they've learned. They can even set their own quizzes and get the same helpful, instant feedback they enjoy from their homework and classwork.
For primary students, Educake provides thorough preparation for SATs, including SPaG and reading practice. With the recent addition of audio questions, learning is more engaging and accessible than ever. Easy-to-read reports highlight areas that need a little more focus, making Educake a valuable tool for primary teachers.
Educake also empowers students to take control of their learning by identifying where they need extra help. If they’re unsure where to start, Educake’s smart algorithm suggests topics and quizzes tailored to their needs, helping them build confidence and succeed.
Recommended Usage
Using Educake several times a week helps to check understanding of new topics. Setting revision of past topics enables students to actively demonstrate what they know and build stronger recall in a low-pressure environment.

Because it does not link to our MIS automatically. As a school that has a lot of student movement it’s really annoying to add new pupils every week and add them to link via SSO. Every other platform we use syncs with wonde or group call.

Since Educake was recommended to us by another school in our MAT, it has had a huge impact on the way we work. As busy teachers, having a platform which allows us to easily set, manage and track student outcomes has been a game-changer. The ease of use of the platform has made life easier (and raised wellbeing outcomes) for teachers in our department. We were able to seamlessly adopt Educake as part of our curriculum enrichment programme two years ago and we haven’t looked back since!
