The content is generally good or better but not being able to edit or even download slides and resources mean that sometimes the planning takes longer than it should. Having to set the lesson up there and then rather than being able to plan in advance is annoying and time consuming.

Kapow has been incredibly useful at our school for PSHE. We were so impressed with the quality of the resources and how much they improved our planning and teaching that we decided to purchase it for DT as well! The topics are explained in an accessible way, and the resources provide excellent opportunities for our pupils to practise and apply their learning, whilst saving our teachers a great deal of planning time. As we are an international school, we sometimes need to add visual aids to support pupils who are not native English speakers. However, the clear progression of topics and the range of resources available through Kapow for both PSHE and DT have significantly enhanced the quality of our teaching whilst saving us valuable time. Kapow is excellent, easy to use and great for supporting teacher's subject knowledge. Sometimes there are errors on the slides or worksheets.

The Y6 History unit dealing with census is one of the most uninteresting I've seen.RE tackles KS3 outcomes in Y5 and 6 and assumes the children have a secure background knowledge of a huge amount of information.”

The progressive planning is excellent, and the fact that each unit will tell the teacher and pupils where and when we last covered something is really helpful. It ensures that teacher and pupil direction is targeted and guided. The videos are engaging as are the topics. The lesson plans are amazing for when a teacher might have to leave their class with a supply teacher, and the curriculum references are a wonderful focus. I am a new user of Kapow, and I really love it! Every teacher has one or two subjects that they probably feel they need to develop. Music is mine - but with Kapow, I am becoming far more confident, supported and inspired via Kapow. This is great personal and professional progress for me! Thank you, Kapow!

some of the activities for year1 are very out of place for the time of year. Making banana covered bird feeders in July only serves to attract wasps, causing another problem. Hunting down 60 pine cones in the summer is also tricky. The amount of resources needed to complete the learning is exhausting and expensive, which makes it hard for a lot of schools now.

There is nothing else available that is comparable to the quality of learning resources that Kapow provides. Wish you did secondary because the secondary resources we buy are not as good as Kapow!

I think some subject areas are better than others. It is very good and breaks things down. The Geography is excellent and what we have used of wellbeing has been good too but I have found the History to be lacking. The topics in History are not always as exciting and the build up of skills and knowledge as well as the range and creativity of activities are not as good as the Geography we use. It would also be good to be able to save changes you make to the slides to your account especially if you share teaching as there is not always time to do this just before teaching.
