I think some subject areas are better than others. It is very good and breaks things down. The Geography is excellent and what we have used of wellbeing has been good too but I have found the History to be lacking. The topics in History are not always as exciting and the build up of skills and knowledge as well as the range and creativity of activities are not as good as the Geography we use. It would also be good to be able to save changes you make to the slides to your account especially if you share teaching as there is not always time to do this just before teaching.

Reply from Kapow Primary:Thanks for your review, Emma. We're pleased to hear that you're enjoying the Geography and Wellbeing resources. We appreciate your feedback on the History scheme and the slides, and will pass this on to the content team.
Emma Berg found Kapow Primary:
  • Improves teacher knowledge
Knowledge of how to teach difficult skills, especially in Geography it helped me to see how to model and break down map drawing for my Year 1s.
  • Reduces teacher workload
Ready made planning and resources with some lovely visuals.
  • Builds student knowledge
Especially the Geography, really breaks down and builds skills and knowledge e.g. my Year 1s are confident now in naming human and physical features due to weekly repetition in different contexts across our China unit.
  • Improves teaching efficiency
  • Improves attainment
