What is Little Bridge?
Little Bridge is an online platform that combines an award-winning English Language program with a safe, English-speaking social community for children globally. It enables pupils new to English to build language skills quickly and effectively and to practise communicating in English by making friends and messaging English Language learners all over the world.
Carefully structured and written by experts, the core learning content includes over children 600 interactive activities, covering listening, speaking, reading and writing. aligned with The Bell Foundations EAL Framework. All posts in the Little Bridge community are fully moderated (by machine and by humans, 24/7).
Using the Little Bridge Teacher Dashboard, teachers can manage the learning experience for their pupils, either assigning specific content as part of teacher-led sessions, or opting to let the platform's algorithm to determine the journey. They can follow progress by group or by individual student, create reports and access a range of additional classroom materials, including easy-to-use Lesson Plans and downloadable resources.
Little Bridge's goal is to help every child become a confident English Language user and to support every teacher who is guiding this process. Our prices are flexible and if you join our international friendship project, you will receive an additional 20% off the license price, along with a package of resources to help your pupils build bridges with pupils in your 'partner' school.
License prices are charged annually and provide full access to Little Bridge's learning content. However, it's free to join the community, which means you can extend the use of Little Bridge across your school. Native English speakers are welcome to discover and develop new friendships around the globe. Teachers can use Little Bridge as a 'window on the world' in their classroom and help children to build important skills, including curiosity and empathy, as well as communication and kindness.

I am responsible for a programme with over 70,000 students in public education. Little Bridge is a friendly platform for users, it has no national badge or flag so it can be used in public education, it caters for children with different skills and capacities, it is fun and has the great addition of "digipals".
