Made by school leaders and informed by conversations with 150+ school leaders, Teacherfolio provides a streamlined recruitment process which gives school leaders maximum insight into their candidates, ensuring they find and appoint the teacher that is the best fit for their school.
How does the Teacherfolio tool work?
In a few clicks, school leaders can select bespoke digital content (including videos) that they would like to see from their candidates and ask their referees bespoke questions.
School leaders select the deadline date for their candidates to provide the content by and we take care of the rest. Our friendly team will be on hand for your candidates to support them in uploading their content, so you don’t have to.
When the deadline date arrives, school leaders and their recruitment team log in into their Teacherfolio account to find a dashboard populated with their candidates, loaded with the bespoke digital content and references ready to be reviewed.
From one simple dashboard, school leaders can work collaboratively and remotely to browse, rank and review their candidates’ digital portfolios containing all requested content and references, improving insight while saving admin time.
Our team will be on hand to support you every step of the way with your recruitment, giving you regular updates from the moment that you select your content to the moment that you appoint.
Where does Teacherfolio fit into my recruitment process?
How you use the tool is up to you.
- Some school leaders choose to collect bespoke digital content from all of their applicants. They review these to inform who they shortlist for interview - no more teachers who are a perfect match for their school slipping through the net because their cover letter doesn't do their personality and skillset justice.
- Some school leaders use Teacherfolio to bolster their current process. They create a longlist based on application forms and cover letters and collect bespoke digital content from this longlist of candidates. They review these to inform who they invite for interview.
- Some school leaders choose to use the Teacherfolio tool to collect bespoke digital content from their candidates in place of the interview and lesson observation to inform who they appoint.
Do I pay a fee if I recruit somebody using the Teacherfolio tool?
We have two pricing structures:
- pay per recruitment round, which does what it says on the tin - you pay a set fee (starting from £345) to collect bespoke digital content and references from your candidates for each recruitment round that you run;
- annual subscription, which gives you unlimited use of the Teacherfolio tool - that's unlimited content from unlimited candidates for unlimited recruitment rounds (prices start from £500 and depend on school size).

Paid SubscriptionOne-Off Fee
An annual subscription provides unlimited access to and unlimited use of Teacherfolio. The pricing is linked to your school size and ranges from £500 for schools with up to 150 pupils to £2000 for schools with 1500+ pupils.
