It is a little expensive for our budget and occasionally there are not videos for particular topics - otherwise 10

sarah diebelius found Twig World:
  • Moderately improves attainment
Our students can struggle with English and the clear videos, well paced and with subtitles really helps them with this
  • Significantly builds student knowledge
Pitched at a really good level in comparison to using you tube videos. Can be used for KS3 and KS4 to introduce a topic as well as consolidate a topic
  • Moderately reduces attainment gap
supports lower ability by being accessible with their English language abilities. Supports higher ability in accompanying questions
  • Moderately improves teaching efficiency and productivity
we can embed the videos into our lesson planning. The experiment demos are particularly helpful in these times of online teaching
  • Moderately reduces teacher workload
stops us having to search for appropriate videos on other resources. we know TWIG will be pitched at right level. Also helps with experiment ideas
