• Builds student knowledge“The information provided on Unifrog is vast. The Careers Library allows students to explore different careers with localised data on e.g. average wages, working hours, growth in the industry etc. Similarly, students can research subject areas (for Post-16 and Post-18) and gain insight from videos and testimonals from current/past undergraduates. A lot of students also love searching for apprenitceships which are separated by level (e.g. degree apprenticeships, advanced apprenticeships etc.)”
• Reduces teacher workload“Teachers are now able to write their UCAS references directly onto Unifrog, the platform then collated the different references for each student, making it significantly easier for the overall reference writer. Unifrog also offers PSHE schemes of work, supported by the website, on all aspects of careers, post-16 and post-18 choices, wellbeing, Welsh Baccalaureate etc. The lessons provided are of high quality and are made in a way which really engages learners.”
• Improves attainment“Students can use Unifrog to research universities, and get an idea of which universities are quite strict with their offers, and which ones can be more relaxed. This allows students to make better informed decisions, and motivates them to achieve the grades to get into university. Similarly, all available apprenticeships are listed on Unifrog. The platform allows students to filter these by level. Students maintain their high aspirations by aiming for the degree apprenticeships, which in turn motivates them to get the grades.”

We have seen a rise in students going into Sixth Form with higher aspirations, in part, due to the information available to them.”
