Unifrog has been a transformative addition to our careers provision at Leigh Stationers’ Academy, providing a seamless, spiralled curriculum that supports students from Year 7 through to the Sixth Form. The platform offers a wealth of knowledge at the click of a button, empowering pupils to link their classroom learning to real-world Labour Market Information and allowing staff to access high-quality resources instantly. Beyond the digital tools, the dedicated support team is exceptionally responsive and knowledgeable, ensuring any queries are handled swiftly. Furthermore, the platform has turned the often complex task of organising work experience into a simple, painless digital process, significantly reducing administrative burden while ensuring every student finds a meaningful placement tailored to their individual needs.

Stephen Smith found Unifrog:
  • Builds student knowledge
Unifrog has significantly improved student knowledge at Leigh Stationers’ Academy by providing clear, practical access to Labour Market Information (LMI). The platform allows pupils to move beyond a handful of well-known jobs and explore a vast range of career routes and opportunities they previously didn't know existed, such as niche roles in technology or sustainability. By seeing real-time data on salary, regional demand, and required qualifications, students can make more informed decisions about their next steps, ensuring their aspirations are backed by a solid understanding of the current economic landscape.
  • Reduces teacher workload
Unifrog has been a game-changer for reducing teacher workload at Leigh Stationers’ Academy, primarily by automating the most time-consuming aspects of careers coordination. The platform's ability to track and monitor engagement against the Gatsby Benchmarks provides an instant, data-led overview of student progress. With just a few clicks, staff can identify gaps in interactions with employers, universities, or careers advisors, making it quick and easy to see which pupils need targeted support to ensure we meet all statutory requirements. The placements tool is a standout feature; it has transformed what was once a heavy administrative burden for work experience into a simple, digital process. By centralising risk assessments, employer agreements, and parental permissions, it has saved our team a significant amount of work. Additionally, the fully resourced careers curriculum and the helpful weekly opportunities emails eliminate the need for staff to spend time planning lessons or searching for external vacancies from scratch. This streamlined approach allows us to spend less time on administration and more time focusing on direct student support.
  • Improves attainment
We're still in the early stages of implementing Unifrog across all year groups but it's definitely had a positive impact on raising aspirations and ensuring that pupils understand the link between academic performance and being employable in the future.
  • Improves parent engagement
  • Reduces attainment gap
