It's a very useful resource that extends learning beyond the classroom.

Briony McNeilly found Audiopi:
  • Significantly improves attainment
Audio revision is particularly useful on the way to and from school. Some students have even been listening to podcasts whilst they've been training at the gym! Podcasts help students to improve their critical thinking from the different critical interpretations that are provided.
  • Significantly builds student knowledge
With so much screen time for students during the Lockdown periods, AudioPi offered an alternative way to absorb knowledge.
  • Significantly increases student collaboration
Students have used podcasts to kickstart collaborative project work and debate.
  • Significantly reduces attainment gap
AudioPi can be more 'active', which has helped boys to engage more regularly, and with improved enthusiasm, to literary texts.
  • Moderately reduces teacher workload
Audio complements existing schemes of work and can be usefully referred to for individual research.
