Audiopi is an excellent resource for students, offering high level discussions and detailed comments about the texts studied. Students find the process of listening to the podcasts straightforward and the voices are engaging. I have also used Audiopi as part of a CPD offer for new staff and PGCE students who are unfamiliar with the various GCSE texts. They have all commented on how useful the material is.

Rebecca White found Audiopi:
  • Significantly improves attainment
Supports students' independent study and helps provide perceptive insights about texts.
  • Significantly builds student knowledge
The podcasts offer detailed coverage of plot, theme, character and context, helping to enhance students' learning.
  • Significantly increases student collaboration
We have created student quizzes and group projects around the Audiopi podcasts to help students revise together. Students are also more confident during group work tasks after listening to podcasts as they feel they know the content better.
  • Significantly reduces attainment gap
It allows students who may not hear academic or higher level language at home to listen to sophisticated discussions about the texts but still in an accessible way.
  • Significantly reduces teacher workload
It has made setting homework much easier and reduces the need for constant review lessons.
